Women's Group

The purpose of the Assumption Women's Group is to: promote unity among the ladies of our parish by providing opportunites for spiritual growth, for participation in various service projects in and outside our parish community, and for establishing educational and social actvities. In addition, we encourage attendance at our regularly scheduled "Soul Food" which is a breakfast gathering of friends.

General Meetings: 2nd Wed. of the month at 7:00pm at church.

Soul Food: 1st Friday of the month at 10:00am at Shirlene's.

Besides our general meetings and Soul Food gathering, we offer several outings and trips during the year and hold monthly craft/cooking activities.

Through all of our planned events and activites, the Assumption Women's Group continues to grow as a vibrant, fun, faith-filled group of ladies. We share our lives, our needs, our joys and our prayers. We are friends and sisters in Christ and we certainly welcome and invite all ladies of the parish to join us at anytime. We know you will enjoy the fellowship of the Assumption Women's Group.
